Who says you can’t go home again? Well, maybe to your second home. Ask actress Charlene Tilton. The petite blond most famous for playing Lucy Ewing on Dallas from 1978 to 1985–and again from 2012 until 2014–has decided to go to her “happy place” once again. She planned the wedding for her only daughter, Cherish Lee–who is a country singer just like her dad, Johnny Lee–at the famous Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. Made famous by Dallas, of course.
Lee’s new husband, Matt Dunn, is a country artist as well. So as expected, there was a lot of performing going on in a tradition that fit with the setting of the Southern-styled nuptials. The choice of venue may seem strange, but Tilton was 17 when Dallas first aired and she spent a good part of her adult life on the show. Tilton has very fond memories of the entire cast including Larry Hagman who was “like an uncle to her.” It’s too bad J.R. and Miss Ellie weren’t alive to reprise their parts–they’d make good wedding guests.
