Rapper Azealia Banks is running a contest. She wants her fans to remix her track Chasing Time, which is on her new album Broke With Expensive Taste. Fans can upload their remixes on SoundCloud. Azealia will give $10,000 to her favorite one. Deadline is December 15. Upload yours, here.
Here’s a tip: The lyrics of Chasing Time could easily describe a romantic relationship that has run its course, but Azealia wrote it right before she parted ways with her former label, Interscope. She recently told Pitchfork: “It was like that awkward point in a relationship where you’re forcing yourself to have sex because you’re like, ‘We live here, we’re sleeping in bed, it’s awkward if we don’t.’”
