TLC has a new polygamist lifestyle show called My Five Wives. 44-year-old Brady Williams is the husband of five spouses and the father of 24 children. They follow the fundamentalist Mormon teachings in Salt Lake City and consider themselves “progressive polygamists.”
On the Season 2 premiere episode, which airs Sunday, October 19 at 10pm, his fourth wife Nonie is concerned that she can’t conceive her sixth child. She mentions that she’s 35 years old and tells Brady that having another might not be in the cards for her. Brady tells her not to worry. He tells the camera, “All I have to do practically is just look at my wife and she gets pregnant.” Brady suggests to Nonie that they keep trying.
