Actress Alyssa Milano (Charmed, Who’s the Boss?) announced that she won’t return as Savannah “Savi” Davis in the third season of ABC’s nighttime soap opera Mistresses. The decision to film the third season of Mistresses in Vancouver rather than Los Angeles (Canada’s cheaper) was a deal breaker for new mom Milano. She gave birth to her second child in September, just a month ago. She explained to her fans via her blog that “Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away.”
Milano’s co-stars– Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan and Rochelle Aytes – have been strangely silent on Milano’s decision. And while fans have taken to Twitter and Facebook to wish Milano well (how can you get mad at a woman who wants to spend more time with her family?) they’re also bummed to have to miss Savi’s reaction to finding her sister Joss in the arms of her ex-husband Harry! We’ll never find out who the boss is now.
