You read that right. Reality TV stars Kylie and Kendall Jenner of Keeping Up With the Kardashians have joined Malala Yousafzai on Time magazine’s 2014 List of the 25 Most Influential Teens. First daughters Sasha and Malia Obama are on the list, too.
Time cited the Jenners’ clothing and nail polish lines, dystopian young adult novel, fashion modeling and hair extensions business, as examples of their influence/success. Others on the list include actors (Rico Rodriquez), singers (Lorde), athletes (Mo’ne Davis) and Vine performers (Shawn Mendes). The non-celebrity names are few. They include the three girls from County Cork, Ireland who won the grand prize at the Google Science Fair (Ciara Judge, Emer Hickey and Sophie Healy-Thow) and Hong Kong protester Joshua Wong.
