Maurice Williams (aka Hefe Wine) is filing divorce papers to end his common-law marriage with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. According to Williams, they began “residing together in the State of Texas on or about September 2008.” Azalea has accused Williams of unlawfully releasing her earlier, unpublished music without her permission and making a sex tape of her “without her knowledge or consent.”
A spokesperson for Azalea told the Daily News, “Iggy’s federal court complaint froze Mr. Williams’ ability to trade on her fame by profiting from music he stole from her, so he has resorted to elevating his predatory relationship with a 17-year-old girl into a sham ‘marriage’ claim unsupported by any certificate or evidence.”
