Grammy award-winning singer Toni Braxton stars in the reality TV show The Braxton Family Values on We TV with her four sisters — Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar. Tamar is the brazen, outspoken one. She has her own spin-off show called Tamar and Vince. Vince is her husband and manager — he also manages Lady Gaga, and used to manage sister Toni, but that’s another dramatic story. Out to promote both shows, Tamar was recently interviewed by Black Enterprise and, as usual, she didn’t hold back.
Tamar is known to say some pretty outrageous things. In the second season of Braxton Family Values, Tamar disrespected her mother so badly Mama Braxton threatened to “slap the piss out of you” if Tamar ever disrespected her again. (Tamar still doesn’t think she did anything wrong.) Tamar might be stubborn but she doesn’t have a wrinkle on her 37-year-old face. An advocate of plastic surgery, Tamar said this when asked if she bleaches her skin: “If I bleached my skin then I wouldn’t have stretch marks, right? So boom!”
