Former Disney Channel actress Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) got married this week to the lead singer of Annie Automatic, Christopher French (he used to date Kaley Cuoco). Tisdale’s Spring Breakers costar Vanessa Hudgens was one of the bridesmaids.
Tisdale’s career is getting a bump up, too. Her next role is Danni on TBS’s new show Buzzy’s, a comedy from Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick (Buzzy’s is their first cable series). It’s about a group of young people who all went to high school together but ran in very different crowds–and now they find themselves working together at a barbershop in a small town outside of Boston called Buzzy’s. Buzzy is played by George Wendt (Norm of Cheers), who knows a good local place when he sees one. Buzzy’s is slated to air in 2015.
