Fashion Week in New York has begun and just in time, the September issue of Vogue – all 856 pages of it – has landed. It’s chock full of glossy spreads featuring gorgeous young celebs including Miranda Kerr, Elle Fanning and Rita Ora modeling the wearable work of Dolce & Gabbana, Christina Dior, and Chanel, among many others.
While young models like Cara Delevingne dominate the issue, there’s one spread that will delight the older Vogue reader and the fans of American Horror Story. Designer and now cosmetics guru, Marc Jacobs dared to get a close-up of 65-year-old, two-time Oscar winning actress Jessica Lange–who models his new high-end beauty line, Marc Jacobs Beauty. Smoldering is the word that comes to mind first. Lange was photographed by David Sims, who also shot Miley Cyrus (who tried to smolder) for Jacobs’ spring 2014 fashion ad campaign.
