English actress Natalie Dormer (Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, Margaery in Game of Thrones, Cressida in The Hunger Games) just landed another big role in the forthcoming action thriller zombie tale, Patient Zero.
Patient Zero, to be produced by Screen Gems and directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (The Counterfeiters), is about an global pandemic that causes the evolution of a new species. An outbreak of rabies turns people into predators. They’re addicted to violence. The plot is further described as: “An inexplicably gifted human survivor with the ability to speak the new mutant language leads a hunt for Patient Zero and hope for a cure.” This one man’s search for the cure is personal – his wife is infected. No word on if Dormer will play wife or Patient Zero.
