The season 6 finale of American Ninja Warrior was last week (no one won the grand prize) but tonight obstacle course fanatics can watch a special USA vs The World matchup. It’s the second team competition in American Ninja Warrior history. In Las Vegas, top American Ninja Warrior competitors including Brian Arnold, Elet Hall, Paul Kasemir, Joe “The Weatherman” Moravsky, and Travis Rosen will be pitted against the best competitors from around the world. (Team Japan and a team of European All-Stars will be there.)
The September 15 broadcast of USA vs The World is a three-hour special on NBC, with an encore airing September 16 on Esquire. Keep an eye out for Team Japan veteran Shingo Yamamoto (he’s competed in every season of Sasuke, the Japanese version of ANW), and Vadym Kuvakin on Team Europe; he’s the former Ukrainian Olympian gymnast who’s now a member of the Cirque du Soleil cast for “La Rev” in Vegas.
