Turns out there’s more to hunky Twilight actor Kellan Lutz than his sexy muscles. Lutz studied chemical engineering at Chapman University before becoming an actor. Why is this tidbit of Lutz trivia surfacing now? He’s promoting The Expendables 3, in which he flexes next to fellow muscle men Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Sly told Lutz not to worry about working out for the film; Lutz was already huge after filming Hercules.
Lutz is taking a break from the gym while he films his next film, Experimenter. It’s a biopic based on the life of famed social psychologist Stanley Milgram (Peter Sarsgaard) who designed an experiment in the 1960s in which people thought they were delivering electric shocks to affable strangers strapped into a chair in another room. Lutz’s co-stars include Winona Ryder (Milgram’s wife) and Taryn Manning of Orange Is the New Black. Experimenter will be released in March 2015.
