Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe stars in the romantic-comedy What If. In the trailer, Radcliffe’s character plays with word magnets on a refrigerator, meets a friend’s cousin (Zoe Kazan), plays ping pong, eats sushi and falls in love. Radcliffe becomes the “crazy romantic cheeseball” Kazan fears and ultimately falls in love with. The catch is, she already has a (knife-wielding) boyfriend and just took a job in Taiwan. So the boy (Radcliffe) chases after the girl (Kazan). You’ll never guess what happens.
What If is the first romantic comedy written by Elan Mastai who wrote the 2012 thriller The Samaritan, starring Samuel L. Jackson and the 2005 horror film Alone in the Dark starring Christian Slater, Tara Reid, and Stephen Dorff.
