The 17-year-old actress Chloë Grace Moretz has quite the resume and love life (she’s dating David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn). At 13, Moretz appeared as Hit-Girl in the action films Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2 (she trained with Jackie Chan’s stunt crew for three months, doing most of her own stunts in the film) and then went on to bigger projects including Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, at the age of 14. The film was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, it won five.
Right now she’s starring in the popular teen-date movie, If I Stay – she plays a girl in a coma who has an out-of-body experience. Next on her schedule is The Equalizer where a former black ops commando (Oscar winner Denzel Washington, Training Day) comes out of retirement to rescue her from Russian gangsters. Moretz seems to be drawn to the action/thriller genre. She’ll star in Dark Places with, yes, another Oscar winner Charlize Theron (Monster). It’s based on the bloody mystery novel by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl).
