Fans of True Detective have been waiting for weeks for news about the cult drama’s second season. Little is known about the show other than the fact that Colin Farrell will be in it, and that it’s got a plot that sounds like warmed-up Chinatown. HBO and creator Nic Pizzolatto have been tight-lipped, so much so that viewers have resorted to recirculating old rumors, sharing snippets of half-truths, and making stuff up on a dedicated fan site.
They’re also getting crafty and displaying their handiwork on Etsy. Need a Yellow King coaster? Or a fine art print of meth cook Reggie LeDoux? Perhaps you’d like a t-shirt of Rust and Marty reimagined as Simpsons characters. No doubt the second season will cause an onslaught of kitsch inspired by Colin Farrell and his eyebrows.
