Jessica Biel‘s big break in acting came when she landed the role as teenager Mary in the family sitcom 7th Heaven. Now a 41-year-old wife and mother of two, Biel looks back fondly at the days when 7th Heaven was at its peak — 1996-2006.
When Biel shared the throwback photos above, most of which she’s wearing a tight halter top with spaghetti straps, she wrote: “I hear all of these outfits are cool again. Love that for me because I was worried they were questionable the first time.”
When her husband, pop star Justin Timberlake saw the photos he replied: “The teenage me just started sweating.” Timberlake also approved of her tbt video from her 2001 movie, Summer Catch (see below). And yes, that’s a sweaty Freddie Prinze, Jr. (husband of Sarah Michelle Gellar) on the lawn mower.
Biel also used the photo op to promote Season 2 of her freeform series Cruel Summer (she’s an executive producer). She adds: “More halter tops coming to a screen near you June 5… @cruelsummer S2 is dropping June 5!!!!”
