In the Bar Rescue episode “Still Bill,” Jon Taffer travels to Midvale, Utah to check out The Union. At the bar and restaurant, Taffer meets Bill, who Paramount Network describes as “a clueless owner” who “evokes the wrath” of Taffer “due to his passive approach” towards running the bar. P.S. Bill is more than $500,000 in debt ($300k of which he owes to his in-laws).
In the sneak peek video above, Taffer sends in two buddies to do recon work. When they meet Bill, they’re surprised to learn that he doesn’t know how to make cocktails behind the bar, especially after owning the place for two years. “I rely on the expertise of other people,” Bill says.
When Taffer walks in, he scolds Bill, “If I owed my in-laws $300,000, I’d learn how to making a f–king drink.” Bar Rescue airs Sundays at 10 pm on Paramount Network.
