Justin Timberlake gave a helpful translation of his golf accomplishment to his fans who don’t golf, but SZA still wasn’t getting it. Didn’t stop the praise though. She wrote: “No clue what’s goin on but congrats on the collective oos n ahhs ..very high quality shmance.”
What Timberlake did do — at world’s oldest golf course, St. Andrews in Scotland — was hit a very old style golf club, and hit it very well. Timberlake described it for golf fans and they provided the aforementioned helpful translation:
“When they ask you to hit a hickory wood club from the 1800s and you stripe it down 18 aka for my non-golfers: I hit the ball with an old ass club and it was chill.” SZA proves you don’t have to know the details to get the message. Nice work JT, right down the middle. Besides, SZA is busy.
