NBA legend Kobe Bryant is renowned as a winner. But the 5-time NBA champion is even more renowned as the hardest working guy in the business — practitioner of the indefatigable Mamba Mentality.
Where’d he get that? Kobe got that mentality from Philly and Philly sports. His father, Joe “Jelly Bean” Bryant, played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Kobe graduated from Philly’s Lower Merion High School (straight to the NBA). When Kobe hung out at the Sixers gym, other kids there included future pro hoopers Teresa Catchings and Mike Bibby.
Much as he is Los Angeles through and through by now, Kobe’s Philly roots run deep. So it’s no surprise that he silently shared the FLY EAGLES FLY video below. The silence was appropriate, because Kobe knows the job at hand is about action, not words. No need to comment. Just share the dream: fly Eagles. And finally after years of struggle, the Eagles are — like Kobe — also real winners: the 2018 Super Bowl champs.
