Gorgeous circus performer Melissa Arleth of New York performs with trained rats who run through an obstacle course called the Cirque Du Sewer. Arleth often performs at Renaissance festivals. When she introduces her show she announces that she brings the authentic smell of the English Renaissance and that her rat is the most historically accurate thing at the Faire. She’s now bringing her rat show to America’s Got Talent.

Arleth’s talent, humor and physical flexibility on stage are undeniable and charming. Arleth has also performed on The Gong Show where she received two perfect scores from Friends star Courteney Cox and Wedding Crashers star Isla Fisher. (Show creator Will Arnett gave her a 9.) Cox said with admiration, “I’ll never look at a rat like I did before.”
Arleth, a trained ballet dancer, also performs with cats. Remarkably she lives in a trailer with both her rats and cats. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
