In the Teen Mom 2 episode “Checks and Balances,” while mother of two Chelsea Houska DeBoer suffers a panic attack, mother of three Jenelle Evans visits mother of two Briana De Jesus in Orlando. According to MTV, while in Florida, Jenelle “struggles to film without her husband.” Her husband of two years, David Eason, is the father of her third child, daughter Ensley. On May 4, People magazine reported that Eason allegedly fatally shot Jenelle’s dog Nugget “for snapping at their daughter.”
The last photo of David on Jenelle’s Instagram feed is dated April 7. He is wearing a camouflage baseball hat featuring the silhouette of West Virginia and a black t-shirt with a large patch featuring the confederate flag and reads “Redneck Nation, Family, Tradition, Heritage.” Jenelle posted the photo after filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion which she said was stressful. She claimed to have been “put through the ringer.” Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9 pm on MTV, right before its spin-off Teen Mom Young Moms Club.
