In the Season 8 premiere episode of Game of Thrones, the Great War has come, the Wall has fallen and the Night King’s (Vladimír Furdík) army of the dead marches towards Westeros — and alongside a full-grown dragon under his command. If that’s not enough for you, expect to see new alliances and betrayals which will determine the fate of everyone in Westeros. The big question is “Who will take the Iron Throne?”

One of the tallest Wights in the army of the dead is portrayed by 6’2″ model/actor Jack Hudson. The young Irish actor was trained at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and has been in numerous short films. Little is known about him publicly outside his CV which lists him as 6’2” tall, 154 lbs., and notes that he will not perform nude. Another fun fact: Hudson is the son of “dysfunctional romance” and “paranormal fiction” author Derick Hudson. Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 pm on HBO.
