In the Season 2 premiere of For the People, “First Inning,” New York City public defender Sandra Bell (Britt Robertson) defends a teenage gamer whose online argument leads to a police raid that ends with the death of a U.S. Senator. Sandra enlists the help of new investigator Ted. He tends to work alone and adds a mysterious edge to the public defenders’ efforts. If this handsome young man with that sexy voice and winning smile doesn’t become someone’s romantic interest, we’ll eat our hats.
