In the Good Girls episode “You Have Reached the Voicemail of Leslie Peterson,” tensions between the women, Boomer, and Mary Pat (Allison Tolman) reach a boiling point. When Mary Pat asks the women, “What are you going to do when you find him?” (referring to Boomer), Beth (Christina Hendricks) replies, “We’re gonna make sure he never bullies us again.” Mary Pat has a better idea. “I think you should kill him,” she says. Ruby (Retta) gasps but Beth does have access to a gun.

Boomer is portrayed by David Hornsby. He’s known for his roles on The Goldbergs (Kyle Schnitz), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (defrocked priest Cricket), Unsupervised (Joel), Six Feet Under (Patrick), and as the voices of Fanboy of Fanboy & Chum Chum, among others.

Fun facts: Hornsby made his debut on the big screen in the 2001 Michael Bay film Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck (as the flyer with murmur). He is married to Bones star Emily Deschanel. And yes, he is related to musician Bruce Hornsby: they are cousins. Good Girls airs Sundays at 10 pm on NBC, right after Jennifer Lopez’s World of Dance.
