On the NCIS episode “Crossing the Line”, while Director Vane (Rocky Carroll) assigns Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) to mentor three high school students at the office, the rest of the NCIS team investigates a man overboard fatality from a Navy destroyer at sea. When Agents Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) meet with Navy Commander Ian Rackham, they’re surprised to hear that the commander thinks the petty officer’s death wasn’t an accident.
