In the Cartel Crew episode “New York, Old Secrets,” tattoo shop owner Kat “Tatu Baby” Flores visits her friend Stephanie Acevedo at Hair Healers salon where Stephanie is getting her hair done. Kat says she’s disappointed that Stephanie can’t come to New York with her. Stephanie says she’s sorry and tries to explain that working with Lil Wayne is a big deal in her career (she wants to be on his Young Money record label) and she doesn’t know when she’s going to get another opportunity like this.
At that moment, Kat makes an awkward pivot in the conversation. She tells Stephanie that she just saw Marie Ramirez De Arellano, who told Kat that she and Stephanie “got into it.” Marie is still upset about Stephanie accepting Nicole Zavala‘s apology. Last week, Nicole called Stephanie’s father a snitch and Marie defended Stephanie. Now Marie says she looks like “an idiot” and thinks Stephanie looks like a fool for accepting Nicole’s apology after being so disrespectful.
When Stephanie learns that Marie was “talking s–t” about Stephanie, she asks Kat, “Is she a tattletale or something?” Stephanie rhetorically asks Marie, “I mean, are you a woman or a f—ing little girl.” Stephanie accuses Marie of trying to create sides. Stephanie declares, “My dad would be rotting in jail if he didn’t get a second chance. I’m going to give Nicole a second chnce.” Cartel Crew airs Mondays at 9 pm on VH1.
