In the Lifetime Christmas movie Santa’s Boots, the protagonist is Holly, a gorgeous blonde who goes home for the holidays and works at her family’s department store. Money is tight this year at the store, so Holly fills in as Santa’s Helper. While on the job, she falls for Santa — aka a handsome young guy named Nick (Noah Mills, boyfriend Robbie on 2 Broke Girls). The plot includes a fun twist on Cinderella – when Nick disappears right before Christmas, Holly’s left with one of his black boots.
Holly is portrayed by Megan Hilty. The singer/actress is known for her roles on BrainDead (Misty Alise), The Good Wife (Holly Westfall), Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Charlene), Sean Saves the World (Liz), Smash (Ivy Lynn — she steals the show!), and Ugly Betty (Glinda in the “Wicked” episode), among others.
On Broadway, Hilty played Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked, Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical, and was nominated for a Tony Award for her role as Brooke Ashton in Noises Off. She most recently played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in 2018. In Santa’s Boots premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, December 8 at 8 pm.
