In the Hallmark Channel movie A Gingerbread Romance, architect Taylor (Tia Mowry-Hardrict) is told by her boss, Linda Ogilvy, that the city of Philadelphia is having a Giant Gingerbread Contest and she wants Taylor to compete. Taylor’s big promotion is on the line. In order to design and build a prize-winning life-sized gingerbread house, Taylor teams up with handsome and single local baker Adam (Duane Henry) on the Giant Gingerbread Competition, and sparks fly in and out of the kitchen.
Linda in A Gingerbread Romance is portrayed by Melissa Peterman. The 5’10” blonde is known for her roles on Young Sheldon (bowling alley manager Brenda Sparks), Baby Daddy (Bonnie Wheeler), Rita Rocks (Jennifer), and Reba (wife of Reba’s ex-husband, Barbra Jean Booker Hart, SEE LINK/IMAGE ABOVE), among others. Fun fact: Peterman (a native of Minnesota) made her big debut in the 1996 Coen Brothers film Fargo as Hooker #2. A Gingerbread Romance premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 16 at 8 pm.
