On the third Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island episode “Breakdown to Breakthrough,” the doctors encourage the couples to share their “love languages” with each other. While Isabella tells Tyler she’s totally comfortable just staring into Tyler’s eyes, Kimber reveals to Shannon that “I feel most cared about just when I’m told I’m cared about.” When she asks Shannon “what about you?” he replies, “Words don’t really do it for me.” That’s funny because he used a lot of sweet talking words when he first met Kimber — they were the first couple to get physical in St. Lucia.
Will Shannon’s tendency to show affection physically and not verbally be a deal breaker for Kimber? If Shannon really wants to convince Kimber to have kids (she said she didn’t think she wanted children last week), he’s going to have to take a crash course to become fluent in Kimber’s “love language”.
