On the Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After episode “Change For the Better,” each of the three Married at First Sight couples receive a package at home. On provided note cards, the couples are supposed to write down the habits they want to keep and the habits they want to break before the baby comes. One habit that Bobby Dodd in Texas would like to maintain or reinstate in his marriage is intimacy. He says his wife of five months, Danielle, has been really nauseous in the mornings and evenings so, “Intimacy is our relationship is definitely not ideal right now.” No doubt, Danielle (who is three months pregnant) is looking forward to the day when she overcomes feeling nauseated every day, too.

During this episode, Danielle and Bobby learn the gender of their baby. From the very start, Bobby Dodd III has been convinced that they’re having a son, to be named Bobby Dodd IV. With the cameras rolling, Danielle (who is shaking) and Bobby who is sweating, open the email together from the OB/GYN office which reveals the gender of the baby. With a nervous laugh, Bobby responds to the email by saying, “No f—king way.” He rubs his eyes and the back of his neck and tells his wife “We’re going to have to try again.” There’s no doubt about it, Bobby is shocked. Why won’t they consider naming the girl Bobbie?
