NBC is giving The Voice coach and singing sensation Kelly Clarkson her own daytime talk show — with a killer spot leading into Ellen, the daytime talk show juggernaut starring Ellen DeGeneres. The Kelly Clarkson Show will air in major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Hartford in fall 2019.

Kelly Clarkson made an immediate and charming connection with viewers as soon as she sat down in her The Voice coach’s chair a few seasons back (Season 14). Clarkson, who became famous after winning American Idol during its first season in 2002, is probably the most successful singer in history to emerge out of the reality show contest format — so it’s no surprise she is able to connect in the TV format. When you think about it, Clarkson’s Idol win proves she has always been as much of a TV star as a singer — since it’s TV that made her a household name. (Of course she took that fame and sold more than 25 million albums with it — what a voice.)
Clarkson will coach on the The Voice this fall for its 15th season — before giving her chair to John Legend in the spring for season 16. The Kelly Clarkson Show is produced by NBCUniversal.
