On the Season 7 Little Women: LA episode “Kicking and Screaming,” Mika arranges for a kickball game meant to bond the women together but you know that doesn’t happen. Mika’s name for their team, The Ferocious Fairies, rubs some of the Little Women the wrong way. But before the game, there’s more serious drama with Christy Gibel. She’s finally going under the knife for her gastric sleeve surgery but before she’s wheeled into the operating room her fear of going under the knife starts to set in.
In the exclusive video above, Christy first worries about Todd not giving her the same support that she gave him when he went through the same gastric sleeve surgery. And then when Christy leaves Todd to prep for the surgery and is lying on a gurney outside of the operating room, she sees the doctor who’s going to perform her surgery. Christy freaks out and says, “I have total white coat syndrome.”
Whenever Christy sees a doctor in a white coat her heart beats like crazy. She knows the doctor has done the procedure a million times but as Christy knows from experience, “you never know when something can go wrong.” Is Christy overreacting? And should she give Todd a break? He’ll be there for her after the surgery. Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
