On the Teen Mom 2 episode “Unicorn Poop,” while Leah Messer talks to her sister Victoria about her ex-husband Jeremy wanting to talk, Briana De Jesus is home with her family. While Briana takes care of her newborn Stella, Briana’s mother Roxanne works with Briana’s 6-year-old daughter Nova on her homework. While Nova is tracing the letter S, her grandmother asks Nova if she’s going to miss her mother, who’s going back to work. Nova says no. When asked why, Nova says, “Because she doesn’t like taking care of me. She likes taking care of Stella.” It’s a heartbreaking scene. Roxanne explains Briana has to take care of Stella because she’s a baby.

Roxanne also reminds Nova that not only does Briana take care of her but she does too, and so does Ti Ti (Briana’s sister Brittany) who’s sitting in the next room. Nova whispers to her grandmother, “But Ti Ti doesn’t because she’s too lazy.” Roxanne whispers back, “a little bit.” Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
