On the fourth round of America’s Got Talent, judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell meet the aerial duo Duo Transcend. They are married performers from Salt Lake City, Utah. (Mary is the wife; Tice is the husband.) Before their audition, Tice tells the judges and audience that their performance is very dangerous as Tice is awaiting eye surgery. “I have really bad eye sight,” he says before he tries to catch his wife on the trapeze.
When Howie asks about doctors warning him to not do this, Tice says “Every one of them” has told him not to — but they really want to win and get the chance to have a show in Vegas where they wodn’t have to travel as much. Tice and Mary have a 2-year-old son.

As Tice climbs up the rope to reach the trapeze bar, Heidi Klum comments on Tice’s “insane” body. (Mary’s body is impressive too!) Duo Transcend give a breathtaking performance set to the Chris Isaac song “Wicked Games” sung by Raign. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
