In the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Mind Games,” Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) asks her former behavioral science professor for help on a case. The case matches one she studied during her FBI training with the professor, Claire McDermott. McDermott seems helpful, at first.
Professor Claire McDermott is portrayed by Deirdre Lovejoy. She’s known for her roles on The Blacklist (Cynthia Panabaker, see photo below), Shameless (Rita), American Gothic (Detective Linda Cutter), Orange Is the New Black (Chris Maser), Bones (Heather Taffet), and The Wire (Assistant State’s Attorney Rhonda Pearlman), among others. She made her TV debut in the 1990 TV mini-series The Kennedys of Massachusetts as Rosemary Kennedy. NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS, right after Bull.
