The Voice Live Finale on Tuesday, May 22, will feature a number of duets. The four finalists get to sing hit songs with singers who have already made it. Britton Buchanan on Team Alicia will sing Ryan Adams (“To Be Without You” about Adams’ divorce from actress Mandy Moore). Brynn Cartelli on Team Kelly will sing a medley with Julia Michaels. Kyla Jade reunites with Jennifer Hudson on The Voice stage to sing “I Know Where I’ve Been” from the musical Hairspray. And Spensha Baker on Team Blake gets to sing the hopelessly romantic song “What Ifs” with heartthrob country singer Kane Brown. Don’t be surprised if rumors start swirling about the two (who are both 24) dating. They’d make for a cute couple but Kane is engaged to be married. (Sorry!)

The No. 1 song “What Ifs” made Kane Brown the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all five main country charts. The duet was released in October 2017, featuring the voice of Lauren Alaina, Brown’s high school choir friend from Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Lauren was the runner-up on Season 10 of American Idol; country singer Scott McCreery won. Brown auditioned for American Idol after Alaina’s success and was chosen for The X Factor but pulled out when it was suggested that he join a boy band. Good decision, Kane! The Voice Live Finale airs Tuesday, May 22 on NBC.
