On the Season 7 premiere of Basketball Wives, the drama continues between the original stars of the show — Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada and Jackie Christie. These women know how to stir the pot — that’s their job. But so do the newbies including career women CeCe Gutierrez and Ogom “OG” Chijindu. CeCe is a registered nurse and OG (who’s from Nigeria but raised in L.A.) is a professional football player. OG plays for the Los Angeles Temptation in the Legends Football League where the players play in lingerie. The women on the field aren’t Victoria’s Secret models — they are athletes who tackle each other. OG is known to celebrate tackles by twerking on the field. See clip below.
OG, who is engaged to Kwame Alexander, a professional basketball player overseas, expects to have her voice heard on Basketball Wives. She says her motto is “A squeaky wheel always gets greased.” Basketball Wives airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
