In the Gotham episode “A Dark Knight: Mandatory Brunch Meeting,” while Nygma hosts a riddle game show in the Narrows with Lee Thompkins in the audience, Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) try to catch Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) before he hits his next target. In the sneak peek video below, Jerome comes head-to-head with Ecco who gives it to him good right across that smiling face of his. She calls someone — presumably Jervic (Benedict Samuel) and reports calmly, “I’ve got him.”
Ecco is portrayed by Francesca Root-Dodson. Root-Dodson is known for her roles on Deception (Bridget Olovsky) and The Blacklist (Ana Dewan), among others. She wrote, produced, directed and starred in the 2017 “happy tragedy” film Free Spirit. Root-Dodson, a Columbia University creative writing graduate, also writes short stories and is working on her debut novel, The Blue Room. Gotham airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
