In the Life in Pieces episode “Sitter Dating Sister Mattress,” while parents Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Greg (Colin Hanks) go to great lengths to find the perfect babysitter for their daughter Lark, Heather (Betsy Brandt) learns more about Samantha’s boyfriend Ryan. (Spoiler alert: she doesn’t like him!) Meanwhile, the hopefully soon-to-be dad Matt (Thomas Sadoski) meets Colleen’s (Angelique Cabral) sister Rita for the first, and he thinks they may have met before.

Colleen’s sister Rita is portrayed by the Brazilian-born comedian/actress Jade Catta-Preta. She is known for her roles on Modern Family (Joey’s teacher Ms. Clarke, see clip below), Those Who Can’t (Jade), Angel from Hell (Sarah), The Jim Gaffigan Show (Susie), Manhattan Love Story (Amy), Californication (Jade), and Daddy Knows Best (Tracy), among others.
