On the Roseanne reboot episode “Darlene v. David,” two actors return to reprise their roles. Jonny Galecki (who stars in The Big Bang Theory as Leonard) is back playing David, the father of Darlene’s (Sara Gilbert) daughter. Academy Award winning actress Estelle Parsons also returns. She plays Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and Jackie’s (Laurie Metcalf) mother Bev. In this episode, Bev leaves her nursing home after an incident and crashes with Roseanne and Dan (John Goodman).
