On the Little Big Shots episode “Little Miss Sunshine,” a handful of cute kids show off their talent including Emi Sunshine, a 13-year-old country singer/songwriter, 7-year-old Ariana Dos Santos, a young soccer star, and 6-year-old inventor Maxim, who’s wearing a sharp green necktie.
When host Steve Harvey joins Maxim on the Little Big Shots stage where Maxim’s latest invention using LEGOS is laid out, Harvey asks Maxim what he has. Maxim says it’s a Rube Goldberg Quintuple Machine. When Harvey asks “It’s called a what?” Maxim slows down his speech, “a quin – tup – le.” Harvey warms Maxim not to talk down to him. “Don’t slow it down for the old man,” Harvey laughs.
