Dancing with the Stars is back with a special Season 26. Ten professional athletes are competing against each other for the Mirror Ball trophy in a 4-week Dancing with the Stars ATHLETES version. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabber, figure skater Tonya Harding, and 2x World Series champion Johnny Damon will give it their all on the dance floor with their pro dance partners.
While Damon used to be known as “Johnny Longhair” while playing for the Boston Red Sox, the retired baseball player is now rocking a mohawk. Thanks to his wife Michelle Damon’s friend and hair stylist Tanya Conner.
Two days prior to the DWTS Athletes live premiere on April 30, Johnny and Michelle made a video while flying on a commercial plane (it appears they fly coach!). The couple thank Tanya for their “amazing” hair styles and Michelle says her hair is so ready that “I don’t have to wash it for the next week!” Dancing with the Stars: Athletes airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
