In the Little Big Shots episode “Eggcellent Eggsperiment,” TV host Steve Harvey meets Tyler Stallings. The adorable 6-year-old little boy from Baltimore, Maryland helps homeless veterans. For the past two years Tyler has been putting together and distributing “hero bags” filled with essentials like toothpaste and soap to those in need. He pays for it by fundraising efforts and proceeds from his book Tyler Goes Around the World (see below for details), which he wrote with his mother Andrea Blackstone. (Illustrations by Alan Haley.)
Tyler Goes Around the World, which is an early lesson in entrepreneurship and giving back, is published by Kid Time Enterprises, a company founded by Tyler and his mom. The book is available online for $21 (without tax or shipping). New episodes of Little Big Shots air Sundays at 8pm on NBC.
