Showtime at the Apollo is premiering on Thursday, March 1. TV personality Steve Harvey and his co-host Adrienne Houghton will bring the funny to the festivities on the legendary Harlem stage. Some talented acts are adorable (kid rappers Mannish), some are dynamic and fun to watch (Indian dancers Team Shraey Khanna), and some are just straight-up gifted artists. Singer Ericka Guitron is in that last category. On Showtime at the Apollo, Ericka sits down at the piano and sings Childish Gambino’s “Redbone.” Someone in the audience says she got a Prince vibe to her.

It’s no wonder why Ericka Guitron has more than 60,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, where she posts covers of Bruno Mars (“Finesse”), Drake (“That’s What I Like”), and Rihanna (“Love on the Brain”). Ericka’s Rihanna cover has been viewed more than 2 million times. You can also watch the drop dead gorgeous Ericka sing the national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner, at Dodger Stadium. This video didn’t get as many views at the Rihanna cover, but it’s worth listening to. Showtime at the Apollo airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX, right after Gotham.
