Two retired athletes are participating in the first-ever Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. They are UFC champ Chuck Liddell and NBA champ Metta World Peace. Metta World Peace was born Ronald William Artest, Jr. in Queens, New York in 1979. He later starred for St. John’s University in his home borough. After winning an NBA championship in 2010 with the Los Angeles Lakers, Artest legally changed his name to Metta World Peace in September 2011. (Metta is his first name; World Peace is his surname — in case you were confused.)
