The two-hour Sister Wives episode “Groomzilla” focuses on daughter #5 Mykelti and her fiancé Tony as they prepare for their wedding. When the young couple first announced their plans to get married, Mykelti’s father Kody and mother Christine (wife #3) did not approve. They thought the young couple didn’t know each other well enough to commit to marriage. But here we are. And Tony is very opinionated when it comes to the details of the wedding. He even goes wedding dress shopping with Mykelti and her moms.
When Mykelti, Tony, the moms and Kody go wedding cake tasting, Kody thinks they’re there to pick just one flavor. He doesn’t expect a cake bar/buffet. Kody really wants the mocha cake. “It’s to die for,” he says at the bakery. Christine agrees, she likens the mocha cake to “angels walking on my tongue.” Mykelti really lovesd the German chocolate cake. Tony insists there be a leche cake. Wife #2 Janelle says, “You better let Mykelti have the cake she wants.” Janelle said after the fact, “We’re obviously always going to take her side.” To this, Kody shook his head in agreement, “Get used to it, Tony.
