In the America’s Next Top Model episode “Beauty Is Drama,” the top 13 contestants face an acting challenge. They must memorize lines for a love scene in a restaurant. When called in for the screen test, they discover they’re performing in front of Emmy Award-winning director Anthony Hemingway. And they’re acting with Kevin Phillips, who’s in Hemingway’s TV series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. which premieres on USA on February 27. Whoever wins the challenge will be given a speaking role in one of Hemingway’s upcoming projects.
Brendi K says, “When I found out we were going to be acting for a challenge, I was so stoked.” She was one of the two at the bottom last week after the maternity modeling challenge. (Maggie was sent home.) Brendi K definitely doesn’t want to be at the bottom two weeks in a row. But she might not have to worry about that. Rhiyan has never acted before and she admits “I don’t know how to get into character.” America’s Next Top Model airs Tuesdays at 8pm on VH1.
