In the Below Deck episode “The Champagne Campaign,” Captain Lee Rosbach is pleased to announce that the crew made $30,000 in tips on their latest charter on Valor. That’s a new record. Divvied up, that’s $2720 each. And that’s just for that charter. Overall, for the season the crew has made $168,000 in tips. On the final night of the charter season, the crew gets a visit from money manager Timothy Sykes.
Timothy Skyes’ claim to fame is turning $12,000 into $4.7 million while traveling the world. The 26-year-old from Connecticut became a self-made millionaire at the age of 21 (while a student at Tulane University), by trading thousands in penny stocks. See “An American Hedge Fund” link above to learn how Sykes did it. He now teaches others how to turn small sums of money into big piles (see photos below) and is turning his students into millionaires. Below Deck airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
