In the American Housewife episode “Family Secrets,” it’s Thanksgiving at the Otto household. Greg (Diedrich Bader) plans a big dinner to impress his parents, Thomas and Amanda, but everything gets turned upside down when Katie’s (Katy Mixon) mom Kathryn (guest star Wendie Malick) shows up unannounced, as does their suave single neighbor Spencer (George Hamilton).
Greg’s father Thomas is portrayed by 6’4” tall actor Barry Bostwick. He’s known for his roles on Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (George), Cougar Town (Frank), Spin City (The Mayor), and in the films Spy Hard (Norman Coleman) and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Brad Majors, A Hero), among others. American Housewife airs Wednesdays at 9:30pm on ABC, right after Modern Family, and right before Designated Survivor.
