The protagonist of the Hallmark Channel movie A Gift to Remember is sweet Darcy Archer who rides her bicycle to work. She works at a small independent bookstore in New York City — yes, there are a few left! One morning, while on her bike she accidentally crashes into a handsome man who’s walking his dog. While he’s rushed to the hospital (and loses his memory), Darcy takes care of the man’s dog and eventually helps the man remember who he is. His name is Aiden (portrayed by Peter Porte).
Darcy is portrayed by Ali Liebert. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles Mech-X4 (Principal Grey), Ten Days in the Valley with Kyra Sedgwick (Det. Nickole Bilson), Chesapeake Shores (Georgia Eyles), Strange Empire (Fiona Briggs), Bomb Girls (Betty McRae), and Harper’s Island (Nikki Botlon), among others. Fun fact: Leibert made her acting debut in 2003 on the Showtime series Dead Like Me with Jasmine Guy (Whitley on A Different World). A Gift to Remember premieres on Hallmark on Sunday, November 19 at 8pm.
